GMP jobs in Bilthoven: the Netherlands' vaccine manufacturing campus, with QC microbiology, sterile QA, validation and MSAT roles, and many that do not require Dutch.
Bilthoven is small, but the campus on the Antonie van Leeuwenhoeklaan is the historic home of Dutch vaccine manufacturing and one of the largest biologics sites in the country. Bulk antigen production, formulation, fill/finish, and QC laboratories running some of the most extensive environmental monitoring and potency testing programmes in the Netherlands all sit on one site. Alongside it, contract biologics testing and a public-health biologics institute keep a steady demand for QC Microbiologists, analytical scientists and QA Officers.
Roles here skew towards QC microbiology and analytical, sterile QA, validation of biologics processes and utilities, and MSAT for upstream and downstream. Shift work is common in QC and production, with shift allowances of 10–20 %.
Bilthoven is 10 minutes by train from Utrecht Centraal and 40 from Amsterdam. Most staff live in Utrecht, De Bilt, Zeist or Amersfoort. Housing is calmer than the big cities; families favour De Bilt and Zeist.
The campus is international. A large share of the QC and QA roles here are English-speaking, and vacancies marked "Dutch not required" are common. Production supervision roles are more likely to need Dutch.
