About the role
The QC microbiology lab at a vaccine manufacturing site in Bilthoven is expanding its environmental monitoring team ahead of a new filling suite. You run EM sampling and reading for Grade A/B areas, bioburden and endotoxin testing, and support media fills.
Your responsibilities
- Perform environmental monitoring (viable and non-viable) in Grade A–D areas
- Read, record and trend EM results; escalate alert and action level excursions
- Run bioburden, endotoxin (rFC) and growth promotion tests
- Participate in aseptic process simulations as an observer and sampler
- Maintain lab data integrity in LIMS
What you bring
Must-haves
- HLO / BSc microbiology or equivalent
- 1–3 years GMP microbiology lab experience
- Willing to work a 2-shift rota (06:00–14:30 / 14:00–22:30)
- Fluent English
Nice-to-haves
- Gowning qualification for Grade B
- Rapid micro methods exposure
- Dutch conversational
